SUGAR CREEK WINERY

About

On a river bluff above the Katy Trail in Defiance, Missouri, Sugar Creek Winery works out of a turn of the century Victorian home. Ken and Becky Miller bought the property, then known as Boone Country Winery, in August of 1994. Their son, Chris Lorch, learned winemaking in Napa, California, and serves as winemaker. Every wine is made on site using all Missouri grapes, fourteen dry, semi-dry, and sweet bottlings, each medal winning.
