About Marc Brédif

Marc Brédif began in Rochecorbon in 1893. Baron Patrick de Ladoucette assumed stewardship in 1980. The house produces three types of Vouvray: classic, late-harvest Nectar Marc Brédif, and Vigne Blanche, an exclusive monopoly and dry white. The program extends to Chinon reds and rosés, including the rare Chinon Blanc and Chinon Réserve Privée. Vouvray Pétillant, created in the early 20th century, is a signature wine. The cellars occupy troglodyte caves excavated from tuffeau beginning in the 10th century, holding rare vintages back to 1874. Open year-round Monday to Saturday, 10.00 to 12.30 and 14.00 to 18.00.
