About Domaine des Aubuisières

Domaine des Aubuisières began in 1978 with six hectares at Girardières and Pinchat. Today, Menehould Lesaffre and Charles Lesaffre tend eighty percent of the vineyard on Vouvray's first slopes, where argilo-calcaires and argilo-siliceux soils dominate. The domaine converted to organic agriculture in 2023 and holds HVE3 certification. Charles Lesaffre is the grandson of Gérald Bruley des Varannes. The program centers on Chenin Blanc, with mechanical harvesting introduced in 2000 and the Quarts de Moncontour parcel acquired in 2020.
