Ceel

About

Ceel, founded in 2010 in Rust, takes its name from the first documented mention of the village in 1317. Markus Fischl, Martin Kern, and Franz Raith shape the program across Weissburgunder, Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Chardonnay, and Syrah. The house produces a Cuvee from Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch, Syrah from one of Austria's oldest plantings of the varietal, and an Eiswein harvested at minus nine degrees Celsius. Visits to the tasting room require advance reservation.
