Hammer Wein Rust established itself in 2014 on 4.7 hectares in Rust, Austria, working organically from the start. Hand-harvested grapes move through spontaneous fermentation without fining agents. The portfolio spans Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Welschriesling, Blaufränkisch, and Merlot across dry and sweet expressions. Sauvignon Vivre and Cuvée Perpetuelle anchor the program alongside Hammer Brut sparkling wine, Ruster Ausbruch DAC, and Auslese. The work has drawn recognition from Falstaff, VINUM, and Decanter, with Sauvignon Vivre 2022 scoring 92 points and Cuvée Perpetuelle earning 93.
