About Tregole
Tregole's roots reach back to around the year 1000 in Castellina in Chianti, in the province of Siena. The vineyard sits between 500 and 580 meters above sea level, where Alberese, Galestro and Macigno del Chianti soils are present. Plantings began in 1956, with new vines added from 1999 through 2019. Vinification happens in a restored barn fitted with temperature-controlled concrete vats. The aging cellar holds French oak barriques and barrels. The program is organic.
