About Stanger Vineyards
Daniel Stanger arrived from Sundhausen in Alsace in 1832 and planted the first vines. Nearly two centuries later, the vineyard remains on the west side of Paso Robles in the Willow Creek District, where it produces handcrafted Reserve wines in small volume. The portfolio spans Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo, and Malbec. The 2020 MASTER Blend is composed of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon and 33% Syrah. Wine critics suggest these wines will peak in seven to nine years. The tasting room opens to outdoor seating and a picnic area.
