About

Defiance Wine, founded in 2012 in San Miguel, is run by three sisters, Erin, Brianna, and Vincenta. Brianna Carroll leads the winemaking program. The vineyard is family-farmed and hand-harvested, producing Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Petite Sirah. Tastings are by reservation only, offered Fridays and Saturdays at $35 per tasting. The Falcon Club wine club offers three membership tiers, Kestrel, Merlin, and Peregrine, with shipments three times yearly starting at $200 per year.
