About Schutt's Apple Mill
Founded in 1918 in Webster, New York, Schutt's Apple Mill has operated for over a century under four generations of the Schutt family. The mill makes apple cider using the same method across those generations, employing UV cold pasteurization. Fresh fried cakes from a special family recipe are made daily, earning City Newspaper's Best of Rochester Fried Cakes/Donuts in 2017 and Best Cider Donut 2017 from Muller's Cider House. Six dedicated acres open for U-Pick apples from late August through October, alongside U-Pick cherries and raspberries. The operation opens seven days a week from 10am to 4pm. A tasting room available for rent serves hard cider.
