About
Neyen de Apalta sits in Colchagua Valley, where Gonzalo Bertelsen shapes the program from ungrafted vines planted in 1889. The Cabernet Sauvignon grows on Apalta's lower slopes, tended under regenerative organic and biodynamic practices. The 2023 Ancestral de Apalta carries deep red color with bluish reflections, aromas of ripe berries, toasted oak, vanilla, and earthy notes. At 13% alcohol and 4.23 g/L acidity, it unfolds a structured, polished palate with refined tannins and a long, persistent finish.
