About Meranda Nixon Winery
Sixteen acres in Ripley, Ohio, converted from tobacco and grain farming into vineyard. The program produces between 1,500 and 2,000 cases annually, drawing from Traminette, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Norton, and Catawba. The 2021 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, 2021 Estate Cabernet Franc, and 2021 No. 18 Estate Norton anchor the portfolio. A one-story tasting room opens Fridays noon to seven and Saturdays ten to five. Second Saturday steak or salmon dinners pair wine with food.
