About
Rose Hill Farm Winery in Butler, Kentucky grows from land originally settled in the mid-1800s. Fifth-generation members of the T. J. Campbell family planted vineyards in 2006 and 2007, founding the winery that same year. The program produces Norton, Chambourcin, Cayuga, Catawba, and Concord wines alongside fruit wines made from Blackberry, Blueberry, and Strawberry, including Triple Crown blackberries grown on the property. Norton grapes are harvested in late September. The work has earned recognition across multiple Kentucky competitions, with Rambling Rose taking the 2022 KY Commissioner's Cup, Norton Wine earning Bronze at the 2022 KY Wine Competition, and earlier medals for Sweet Lizzie, Chambourcin, and Wild Rose Concord. The winery does not operate a public tasting room.
