About LE CECCHE Az.Agr. di De Bruyne Jan Jules Martha
In Diano d'Alba, Piemonte, Le Cecche began in 2001 when Jan De Bruyne, a Belgian physician, and his Italian wife, Marchioness Paola Invrea, purchased the property. The work unfolds across eight hectares. Piero Ballario consults on winemaking. The portfolio spans red wines, Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo, and Merlot, alongside whites, Manzoni Bianco and Timorasso. Bossolasco, planted in 2008 at 750 meters, feeds the white program. The Barolo area holds MGA Sorano, acquired in 2010. MGA Borzone in Grinzane Cavour arrived in 2014. MGA Bricco San Pietro in Monforte joined in 2015. Production has grown from 3,000 bottles in 2002 to 40,000. The cellar runs on green electric energy.
