Diano d'Alba, Piemonte. Four hundred meters up, where Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto thrive on vineyards averaging thirty years old, some past sixty. The cellar itself is carved into the hillside, leveraging stone and earth for temperature stability without climate control. Solar panels crown the roof. The program moves through steel and French oak, twelve to twenty-six months depending on the wine. Diano d'Alba Sorì della Pezzea, Nebbiolo d'Alba Superiore, Barolo, Langhe Rosso Triumvirato. Manual pruning and defoliation shape the work. July and August bring grape thinning. The bottles weigh four hundred fifty grams, thirty percent lighter than standard, made of recycled glass. Corks come from sugar cane, carbon neutral and recyclable. FSC paper, SQNPI certification for sustainable practice. Two hectares of mixed forest anchor the property. The tasting room welcomes visitors. Food is available.
