About Kvint

Kvint was founded in Tiraspol in 1897 and has grown into one of Moldova's largest producers. The house cultivates more than 30 grape varieties across 2,000 hectares of productive vineyards. Under winemaker Oleg Markovich Baev, the program spans cognacs, wines, vodkas, gin, and brandy. The cellar holds approximately 11 million liters of absolute alcohol in distillates for cognac aging from 1 to 60 years, with the first laid down in 1938. The house produces approximately 20 million bottles annually and has been certified to ISO 9001 since 2000. The portfolio has earned 10 Super Grand Prix awards, 30 Grand Prix awards, and more than 300 gold and silver medals. Tastings of cognacs and wines are available.
