Karner

About

Georg Karner founded this estate in 1737 in Donnerskirchen, in Austria's Leithaberg region. Across approximately 16 hectares of own vineyards, the house cultivates Grüner Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gewürztraminer, with eighty percent of production in white wine and twenty percent in red. All wines are made from plant-based ingredients and sustainably certified. Karner produces Wine & Soda, a spritzer made from Grüner Veltliner and Sauvignon Blanc with 5% alcohol and a 40-60 ratio of wine to soda, and Grape & Soda, made from Gewürztraminer grape juice. Wine tastings are offered.
