About Bayer-Erbhof
Bayer-Erbhof has produced wine in Donnerskirchen since 1735, making it one of the oldest wineries in the region. The vineyards sit on southern slopes of the Leitha mountains with limestone and slate soils. Josef Bayer jun., Josef Bayer, Michael Bayer, and Sepp Bayer guide the work across white and red wines. The house produces origin-typical and mineral white wines alongside dense and spicy reds. The portfolio spans Classic wines, Lagen wines, Leithaberg DAC, untouched, Carabus, and Süßweine & Frizzante. A 90 square meter tasting room accommodates up to 50 people. Guest rooms in a quiet courtyard offer overnight stays. A Heuriger operates in summer on select dates.
