About
Donnerskirchen, at the foot of the Leithaberg. Grapes come in by hand, Handlese, and from there the cellar work splits by style. Red quality wines settle into large wooden barrels for at least a year. Reserve wines go into new barriques, sometimes for up to two years, until they find their balance. Whites labeled classic stay brief in stainless steel. The Ried Bergweingarten site produces Blaufränkisch, Chardonnay, and Grüner Veltliner. Attila 2017 and Cuvée Elisabeth 2020 round out the portfolio. Wines are sold directly from the winery, Ab-Hof-Verkauf.
