About
The Prieler name appears in Schützen documents from 1347, anchoring seven centuries of presence in this corner of the Leithaberg. The grandfather was the first to bottle wines, earning recognition for them. His parents chose quality over quantity, a principle that shaped everything after. Blaufränkisch anchors the program. Pinot Blanc vines planted ninety years ago by the great-grandfather still produce, joined by younger vines the grandfather set in Seeberg's limestone sixty years back. The vineyards spread across plateaus, plains, and slopes, mostly stony ground.
