Iowa Grape Vines Winery, LLC

Iowa Grape Vines Winery began as a grape vine nursery in Preston in 2001, then opened as a winery in Maquoketa in 2009. The program focuses on Noiret, Petite Pearl, La Crescent, Niagara, and Concord. Noiret is semi-dry and aged in French oak. Caves Road White, made from La Crescent grapes, won Gold at the 2015 Iowa State Fair. Blue Diamond, a sweet red blend, earned Double Gold at Finger Lakes International in 2015. Iowa Blend, a sweet white made with Iowa-grown grapes, won Silver in 2016 and 2018. Just Because, a sweet red made with Concord grapes, won Silver at Finger Lakes in 2015. Since 2017, the winery has entered 26 wines into competition and received 25 medals. The tasting room welcomes walk-ins with outdoor seating. No food is served.
