Gruber has made wine in Obertiefenbach bei Kaindorf since 1934. What began as a mixed farm shifted entirely to wine in 2002, when livestock operations ended. The portfolio spans whites, rosés, and reds. Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Weißburgunder, Muskateller, Morillon, Grauer Burgunder, and Rheinriesling anchor the white program. Zweigelt, Rösler, Franziskus, Zweigelt Barrique, Heckn'klescher, and Schilcher form the red and rosé side. The house operates a Buschenschank with a terrace and cellar room, where food arrives alongside the wines, including meat from Turopolje pigs. Wines have been recognized by the Austrian Wine Challenge and Styrian regional wine tasting.
