About Seidl
Seidl operates a Buschenschank in Hartberg, in Vulkanland Steiermark, run for three generations and extensively renovated in 2010. Franz Martin, a graduate of Weinbau-Fachschule Silberberg bei Leibnitz and certified Weinbau-Kellermeister, leads the program. Vineyards in Schildbach face south below the Hartberger Ringkogel. The cellar produces Welschriesling 2025 DAC at 11.5% vol, Chardonnay RESERVE 2023 DAC at 13.5% vol, Zweigelt 2023 at 13.0% vol, and Franzante 2024, a carbonated sparkling wine. Pork for the kitchen comes from pigs raised on-site. Wines are sold directly from the winery and available by mail order.
