About Domaine Renardat Fache
Domaine Renardat Fache sits in Mérignat, where eight generations of family have tended vineyards. Founded in 1958, the domaine now operates 12.50 hectares in AOC Bugey Cerdon. Alain Renardat-Fache returned to the work in 1974 after studies in Beaune. Elie Renardat-Fache joined in 1996, also trained at Beaune. Together they shape the program around ancestral method winemaking, producing Bugey Cerdon. The conversion to organic agriculture began in 2008, with Ecocert certification following in 2012. The Bugey appellation itself achieved AOC status in 2009.
