Domaine Chaland

About

Jean-Marie Chaland and Ewelina founded this domaine in 2000, establishing themselves across 9.5 hectares fragmented into 23 parcels spanning Viré, Montbellet, and Burgy. The work draws from four appellations: Viré-Clessé, Mâcon-Villages, Mâcon, Bourgogne rouge, and Mâcon-Burgy. Organic certification arrived in 2003, anchoring a practice built on manual harvest and vineyard maintenance without synthetic herbicides. The cellar receives visitors by appointment.
