About Cardinal Point Vineyard
Cardinal Point Vineyard sits in Nelson County, Virginia, within view of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive. Founded in 1985, this family-operated farm winery is run by Tim Gorman, who serves as both winemaker and vineyard manager. Gorman has over three decades of experience growing vitis vinifera vines at Cardinal Point, and the wines showcase the terroir of the Monticello American Viticultural Area. The portfolio spans Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, Viognier, and Riesling. The tasting room opens daily from 11am to 5:30pm, with indoor and outdoor seating.
