Nelson County, just south of Charlottesville. Brent Manor Vineyards works as an artisan operation, moving between house wines and Portuguese selections. The 2021 Viognier arrives dry and full bodied, citrus and tropical fruit threading through. There's a 2022 Alvarinho, equally dry and structured, and a 2022 Vinho Branco that marries Chardonnay with Alvarinho. The 2024 Chardonnay rests in stainless steel. A 2020 Cabernet Franc Rosé stands as 100 percent varietal. The 2022 Patio Red blends Chambourcin and Touriga Nacional. The 2023 Chambourcin Reserve builds full bodied, earthy and inky.
