About Bluestone Vineyard
Bluestone Vineyard sits in Bridgewater, in the Shenandoah Valley, named for the bluestone limestone that defines the local soil. Founded in 2008, the program centers on Petit Manseng, Moscato, Chambourcin, and Cabernet Franc. The 2019 Petit Manseng ranked among the top 12 wines at the Virginia Governor's Cup Wine Competition. The Moscato is whole cluster pressed and held in stainless steel until bottling. The Chambourcin Rosé, made from 100% whole cluster pressed Chambourcin, is dry. The vineyard won two gold medals at the 2020 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
