About Blue SKY Vineyards

Blue Sky Vineyards anchors the eastern end of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail in Makanda, Illinois. Thirteen acres of vines grow in loess soils over limestone, producing award-winning Illinois wines. The tasting room features Tuscan-inspired décor including stucco walls, hand-hewn beams, Portuguese tiles and carved doors. Elegant suites sit above the tasting room for overnight guests, who wake to a Rise & Shine breakfast. The vineyard also hosts weddings and celebrations.
