Kite Hill Vineyards began in 1998 in Carbondale, within the Shawnee Hills AVA. Jim and Barbara Bush acquired the property in 2006 and built a dedicated production facility in 2010. Scott Albert shapes the program, crafting Chambourcin, Chardonel, and Viognier entirely on-site. The wines have earned state and international recognition. The tasting room sits at 100 Tasting Room Road.
