Lick Creek Vineyards anchors the eastern end of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail in Makanda, Illinois. Thirteen acres of vines grow in loess soils over limestone, producing award-winning Illinois wines. The vineyard features Tuscan-inspired architecture, stucco walls and hand-hewn beams meeting Portuguese tiles and carved doors. Elegant suites offer overnight stays.
