About Blackmon
William Blackmon established Blackmon in Mason in 2015, nearly four decades into his work in Texas wine. The vineyard sits nine miles west of town at Blackmon Ranch, in Hickory Sand soil within the Texas Hill Country AVA. The tasting room anchors Mason's square, where two programs unfold by appointment on Friday and Saturday. Both tastings cap at ten guests. The portfolio centers on Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, and Petit Verdot.

90 minute tasting hosted by William Blackmon. Experience the terroir of the estate wines from Blackmon Ranch Vineyard, grown in the Hickory Sands of the Texas Hill Country AVA. Cost: $50 per person. Available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 11:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m.

45 minute tasting of 3 BLACKMON estate wines. Cost: $30 per person. Available Friday & Saturday, 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
