About

Thirty acres of prairie, hardwoods, and vineyard in Plainview, Minnesota. Eric Hanlon and Wanda Hanlon founded the winery in 1996, working a 2.5-acre vineyard planted with over 20 grape varieties and sourcing fruit from local vineyards across Southeast Minnesota. The cellar produces Merlot in both semi-sweet and dry expressions, alongside St. Croix, Crimson Pearl, and blends of Frontenac, Sangiovese, Millot, and St. Croix. Walking trails and two ponds thread through the property. The tasting room welcomes visitors without reservation. Light food and a picnic area are available.
