Wenzel

About

Wenzel sits directly on the western shore of Lake Neusiedl in Rust, Austria, where twelve generations of Michael's family have devoted themselves to viticulture since 1647. The program centers on Furmint, Blaufränkisch, and Pinot Noir, with forty years of work in Furmint shaping the house's approach. Spontaneous fermentation, no filtration, minimal sulfites. The native category wines arrive cool, precise, elegant. The wild+free series explores maceration fermentation at low alcohol. Analogue represents limited editions paired with limited photo series.
