Vintners and Vagabonds (Aidan Raftery)

Aidan Raftery makes natural wines in Imereti, western Georgia, drawing from vineyard sites in Vani and Tsageri. The Igavi Wines program and Katsia da Guneba, from a vineyard planted in 1954 in Zeindari, anchor the portfolio across Tsolikouri, Aladasturi, Vanis Chkhaveri, Tsitska, Mgaloblishvili, Ojaleshi, and Tskhvedianis Tetra. Vintners and Vagabonds specializes in sourcing and exporting kvevris, the traditional Georgian clay vessels used for fermentation and ageing of wine, to France, South Africa, Australia, Lebanon, China, and Taiwan. The house also offers consultation, training, education, and production services. Food is available.
