Viña Los Quiscos, founded in 2005 in Paine within the Maipo Valley, operates across multiple terroirs under the direction of winemakers Ximena Alejandra Arias Medina and Juan Carlos Faundez Victoriano. The program balances organic and conventional production, holding certifications across four jurisdictions: NOP, EU, JAS, and Chilean national standards. Los Quiscos itself, a nine-varietal blend planted at 490 meters in alluvial soils, spends 60 percent of its volume in French oak for 13 months before a year in bottle. Trancoyán draws from País vines over 150 years old in the Coastal Mountain Range's granitic soils. The Cabernet Sauvignon DO Valle del Maipo comes from 60-year-old vines and ages 14 months in barrel. Carmenere DO Valle del Maipo is hand-harvested between the last week of April and the first week of May, then aged 13 months in barrel. A Chardonnay from Casablanca, planted 30 kilometers from the sea in granitic soils, ferments in wood and ages nine months.
