About
Andrea Jure Duarte founded Mujer Andina Wines in 2012 as a tribute to the women of South America and the Andes Cordillera. An agronomist engineer from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile with over two decades of national and international experience, Duarte leads the program from Paine in the Maipo Valley. The portfolio grows Syrah, Carménère, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay under organic practices. El Infaltable anchors the house. In 2021, the cellar released Livianita de Sangre Brut Zero, Chile's first naturally sweetened sparkling wine using stevia, gluten-free and vegan-friendly. Gran Levita earned recognition as best wine 2024 in Alistair Cooper's Master of Wine guide.
