Villa Rosa arrived in Toscana in 2015, when the Cecchi Family acquired the property in Castellina in Chianti from the Lucherini Bandini Family, who had tended the land for nearly seventy years. The estate spans 126 hectares, with 30 devoted to vineyard and 15 to olive groves, positioned between 425 and 225 metres altitude across soils of calcareous clay, alberese limestone, and marl shale. Sangiovese anchors the program. The Gran Selezione Villa Rosa debuted with the 2015 vintage, joining the Chianti Classico D.O.C.G. in the portfolio.
