About FonteBelvedere
FonteBelvedere was founded in 1934 on the Chiantigiana road, eight kilometers from Siena. The estate spans twenty hectares, twelve planted to vine and two to olive. Vincenzo Mercurio shapes the program, which earned organic certification in 2022. The house produces Chianti Classico, a 100% Sangiovese at 14% alcohol, alongside Mille Sparse, a Chianti Classico DOCG from vines planted in 1974 now averaging forty-nine years old. The portfolio extends to Monacianello, an IGT Toscana, and Ventallotto, a rosato frizzante. The Monacianello casale offers separate apartments with garden and pool, accommodating up to twenty guests.
