Totem Pole Winery

About

Don and Joan Hopler began Totem Pole with a wine-making kit and built it into a working winery at their Carlisle ranch. The program spans reds and whites, from Marechal Foch, Chambourcin, and Frontenac to Chardonnay, Riesling, and Pinot Grigio. Signature bottles include Straight Arrow, Wertz Run Red, and White Wisteria, a Cayuga blend finished with TPR honey. Malbec arrives from Chile. The cellar opens Thursday and Friday from 4pm to 9pm, Saturday 2pm to 9pm, or by appointment at 940 Cranes Gap Road.
