Juniata Valley Winery opened in 2012 as a family operation in Mifflin, Pennsylvania. The tasting room occupies the restored sunroom of The Wilson House, a late 19th-century manor. The program spans fifteen varietals, from Merlot and Pinot Noir to Traminette, an award-winning expression, and Morning Thief, which won Best of Show at the 2017 Pennsylvania Wine Association awards. First five tastings are complimentary. The house also hosts Corks & Cobwebs each October 31, and operates as a wedding venue. Open Thursday through Saturday, 11am to 5pm, and Sunday, noon to 5pm.
