The Grateful Vineyard

About

On the north side of Mount Hood in Parkdale, Katrina and Kenny founded The Grateful Vineyard in 2016. The operation sits in the Columbia Gorge AVA and operates as a fusion of boutique winery, craft cidery, and microbrewery. High-elevation sparkling wine anchors the program. Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Gris form the portfolio, with the 2022 Estate Riesling, Estate Sparkling Riesling, and Estate Sparkling rosé representing the house's work. An open grassy meadow with picnic tables invites visitors without reservation. The kitchen pairs seasonal offerings, from pizza and pear salad to orchard board charcuterie and Swiss Fondue. Non-alcoholic draft sodas round out the cellar.
