About WY'East Vineyards
Peter Cushman, a third-generation Oregon winemaker, has been winemaker at WY'East since 2012. He studied biology and chemistry at the University of Oregon before working at Viento in Hood River and Framingham Wines in Marlborough, New Zealand. The program centers on nearly 30 acres of estate vineyards. Harvest is done by hand, with fruit moving through oak barrel aging and winemaking 100 yards south of the tasting room. The portfolio includes Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay, with Estate Grown Pinot Noir at the core. The Legacy Wine Club ships twice yearly in spring and fall, pairing two whites with four reds per release. Membership is free, and members receive 20% off all purchases.
