About The Apple Shed
Maple Ridge Fruit Farm was established in 1906, with first trees planted in 1907. Now in its fourth generation under Gary and Barb Wells, the 100-acre orchard holds nearly 80,000 trees across more than 25 apple varieties. SnapDragon and RubyFrost grow here exclusively in New York State, alongside HoneyCrisp, Gala, and Fuji. The Apple Shed farm market opened in 1973. Old Goat Cidery opened in 2017. Harvest runs late-August through early-November. Open Wednesday-Sunday, 10am-5pm.
