Strohmaier Thomas works five vineyard sites across Weststeiermark, including Schloss Limberg along the Schlicherweinstraße toward Aibl near Eibiswald. Katrin is the winemaker and daughter of the family business. The family has been involved with wine for over 30 years. Her first release, Miss Rósy, stands as the world's first Schilcher vermouth. The portfolio spans Schilcher, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc, alongside the URKRAFT line and a range of fruit brandies and pumpkin seed oil. Katrin served as one of three Styrian wine queens from 2022 to 2024.
