Jauk Christian

About

Jauk Christian began in 1983 in Pölfing-Brunn, in Austria's Weststeiermark region. Christian Jauk, a wine and cellar master, and his son Tobias shape the program across twelve hectares. Tobias trained at Silberberg wine school and worked as a cellar hand in South Africa before returning to the family work. The portfolio centers on Schilcher, offered in three expressions. Welschriesling, Muskateller, Sauvignon Blanc, and Weißburgunder round the whites. Stainless steel tanks hold fermentation and aging. Beyond wine, the house produces Sekt, Frizzante, and pumpkin seed oil.
