About Stratford Winery

Stratford spans 1,800+ acres along the Northern Neck, where Stratford Cliffs rise 150 feet above the water, their faces studded with Miocene fossils. The grounds open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. The Great House welcomes visitors Wednesday through Sunday, same hours. Nearly three miles of nature and hiking trails thread through the property. The only currently active water-powered gristmill on the Northern Neck still operates here. The Stratford Hall Wine & Oyster Festival is hosted on September 19 & 20, 2026.
