Les and Erin Melanson established Xella in 2007 on nine acres in Laurel Grove, Maryland. The program rests on biodynamic and regenerative farming practices in the vineyard, paired with minimal intervention in the cellar. The portfolio spans Muscat, Vidal Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chambourcin, and Zinfandel.
