About
Rick and Linda Phillips' vineyard sits on Virginia's historic Northern Neck, a peninsula between the Potomac and Rappahannock Rivers. The program spans whites, sparkling, and red blends. GRV White marries Traminette and Vidal. Pinot Grigio and Viognier both ferment in neutral oak. Sparkling Semper Fi blends Chardonnay, Chardonnel, and Vidal Blanc, while The Flying Leathernecks Sparkling Rosé draws from Touriga. Generals Nightcap, a late harvest from Petit Manseng, anchors the sweeter side. GRV Red pairs Merlot and Chambourcin. Westmoreland Red follows a Bordeaux style. The tasting room opens Friday through Sunday, and lodging is available. Wheelchair accessible.
