La Morra, Piemonte. Spirito Agricolo Ballarin traces its roots to 1928, though the modern house took shape in 2022 under Gianni, Giorgio, and Cecilia Viberti. Five hectares of vineyard, farmed organically since the 2022 vintage and biodynamically certified from 2023 onward. The program centers on Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and Barbera, with Barolo as the flagship. Cecilia studied enology. Gianni completed a master distiller course in 2015. The house produces grappa and acquavite from Nebbiolo, Barolo, apples, and pears.
