About BORGOGNO FRANCESCO Az.Agr. di Borgogno G e C. s.agr.s
Founded in 1930, Borgogno Francesco is located at the intersection of Cannubi and Brunate hills in Barolo. The house works across three classic Piemontese varietals. Nebbiolo anchors the program, expressed through Barolo DOCG from Brunate, Bussia, and Castellero. Barbera and Dolcetto round the portfolio, appearing as Barbera d'Alba DOC, Dolcetto d'Alba DOC, and Langhe Nebbiolo DOC. The cellar also produces Fata d'Oro, a white wine. The 2016 Barolo Brunate earned 91 points and silver at Decanter World Wine Awards 2020. A tasting room welcomes visitors, with food available.
